Find out about our mission here - About Us

Thank you for your interest in INSIDE the BRICK’s mission to improve the lives children at risk of social isolation, particularly those impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders (inc. Asperger’s).

Working or Volunteering with us is more than helping to improve the lives of the most vulnerable people. You are joining a movement. Our people are passionate about championing the importance of construction play and its role in supporting children’s social development.  We work together in new and innovative ways to achieve extraordinary change.

We appreciate the time every applicant takes to express his or her interest in working with us.  However while some activities involve model building (especially with LEGO bricks) we must stress that only a few roles are available in our model shop.  Most of the roles we have available are to support our events, community work and help us reach our customers and beneficiaries.

Note that all roles require a Working With Children Clearance.  We also require screening checks and training for certain volunteer roles. This can include but is not limited to National Criminal History Checks and Working with Children Checks. Applicants are informed of all legal and training requirements for the volunteer role during or prior to an interview.

All volunteers receive free access to our expos and events and other special behind-the-scenes access and discounted building supplies.
